In India, the Mercedes-Benz CLA range competes with Audi A3 and introduction of this special edition model certainly boosts the CLA’s sedan’s appeal further. Speaking about the special edition model, it comes with dual zone climate control, special ‘Sport’ floor mats, special badging and Sport door sills. Also, there is a faux rear carbon spoiler adding some extra sportiness to the car.

While cosmetically, the Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 Urban Sport edition comes with some uniqueness, mechanically it remains same as the standard model. Engine and transmission remain same as regular version. The petrol powered car churns out 181 bhp of peak power, while the diesel model kicks out 134 bhp of peak power.

Speaking about the launch of Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 Urban Sport edition, Mr. Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India said, the CLA remains a key product in the brand’s modern portfolio thanks to the sporty design and performance. Adding this special edition model will increase its appeal further. However, it is not sure how many units of the special edition sedan will be sold in India.
